The amazing Mr. M

This is my youngest grandson – the amazing Mr. M, or the MZ, as we call him.

I got to spend a few hours with him yesterday, which is always a treat.

Whenever I turn a camera on him, he moves just when I snap the shot. every time. much movement.

So I have lots of shots of him that look like this:

Mr. M has a fairly serious outlook on life.

And conversations with him are always scintillating

(this means witty and clever, but I can’t be bothered with such small words)

On the ride to my house yesterday, we enjoyed some clever banter-

Mr M.-So, I have a dad

Me- You do? (of course I know he does, this is just to keep the words flowing)

Mr. M – Yes, I call him Daniel.

Me-Why don’t you call him Dad?

Mr. M – Because I call him Daniel.

Notice this logic is inescapable – he is like a chess master with words.

Mr. M – So, there are lots of houses.

Me- Yes there are.

Mr. M -So they are cool

(notice how his every sentence begins with So – shear brilliance)

Me – Yep

Mr. M – So don’t worry about it

(see how he completely puts me at ease? Makes sure I am not worried?)

Mr. M.- So, we have two bathrooms

(Astonishing, I am on the edge of my seat)

Me- So do we

Mr. M- No you don’t

Me-Yes we do

Mr. M – No you don’t

Me- Yes we do

This conversation was concluded when we got to my house and I took

him in to both bathrooms, proving myself right which was quite satisfing.

Me – See – I told you we had two bathrooms

Mr. M – So, I know..
