Easy Sweater Update

Happy Saturday! I am stuck at home sick today, and am

having a hard time getting myself to stay down and rest.

Anyone else struggle with that? I have a whole day off and

I don’t want to waste it being sick! But, on the other hand,

I have a busy week at work and need to be well. Oh the

conundrum….

So I decided to share with you a quick makeover I did on a sweater

awhile back. It is super easy, frugal, and very cute!

I must warn you though – this post contains self-pictures, which used to be

one of the trademarks of my old blog… maybe that’s why it isn’t up anymore..

So this is my sweater – reflected in my dirty spotted mirror..

Now that I have my cool new camera, which I lOVE, it is harder

to take self portraits because I need to actually put my eye

to the viewfinder to take a picture. At least if I want to frame up

the shot anyway!

I decided the sweater was a little plain, and I wanted to spice it up a bit.

As you know, I have been going through a Black and White phase recently-

Frugal Friday – Black and White

So I went looking for something black to iron on to the sweater.

I found a couple of flourishes at a local fabric store. I think

the total for both was about $4.00. I followed the instructions -

And ironed them on!

I like the way it turned out!

Although I’m not as pleased with the picture!

Did you know that if you tilt your head up in pictures it helps

you loose the double chin/turkey neck look?  Or so I have

heard, I of course have no need to do that but thought I should

share the information….one warning though, this can look

awkward in group photo’s when everyone else is looking straight ahead..

So there you have my quick and easy makeover. It is amazing the things

you can find at a fabric store to give your clothes an updated look!

I plan on working on making some fabric flowers soon to embellish some items.

But that is for another day! Thank you so much for stopping by today -

I promise I very seldom do self-portraits. So if this is your first visit take

heart! And please come back!!

very cute! another tip I have heard is if you touch your tongue to the roof of your mouth while smiling for a picture, it makes your eyes open more. =)

Following my own monitoring, billions of people all over the world get the home loans at different creditors. Therefore, there is a good chance to receive a term loan in all countries.
