Easy Strawberry Cream Dessert

Are you ready for a quick, easy, no need to heat up the kitchen dessert?

I am always ready for that!

This one is seriously so easy – with fresh ingredients, it is even somewhat healthy!

And a great one to serve to your BBQ guests before the fireworks begin.

There are only 3 ingredients to this recipe -

Strawberries, whipping cream, and powdered sugar.

You can even substitute frozen berries, or granulated sugar.

Start out with 2 cups of sliced strawberries.

Put them in a blender with 3/4 cup powdered sugar.

Blend!

Now put 1/2 cup of whipping cream into a mixing bowl.

Beat until peaks form-

Now fold the whipped cream and the strawberry mixture together -

Then pour into serving dishes and chill.

How incredibly simple is that! It tastes light and cool and creamy -

I put one of them in the freezer, and it was oh so good! Almost like ice cream – without the fuss!

This would be really good as pudding pops for the kids – just put them in a small cup

and put a stick in it and freeze! The recipe made two of the water goblets and two of the star dishes

you see above. I think it would make 5-6 of the smaller servings – but it would be really

easy to double and make more servings.

Hope you enjoy it – would be great for 4th of July!

Thanks so much for stopping by The Little Brown House -

And be sure you check out these other parties!

I think I may just make this into pudding pops for the kids. Who am I kidding, it would be for the grown-ups too!

This looks delicious. I remember my mother making something like this growing up. I make a strawberry soup somewhat like this using sour cream and a little lemon juice and use it as an appetizer. It is always a hit. I connected with you through Tempt My Tummy Tuesday. Thanks for sharing.

Hailing from TMTT, and this looks wonderful. My mom used to make something like it. I make a strawberry soup using sour cream instead, the kids love it, they would love this even more. Thanks for sharing.
