I know – some of you are looking for the tutorial on how to get rid of squirrels..and you are asking yourself,

“is this lady crazy?”

Well, the answer to that is yes, but it has nothing to do with the squirrels.

I happen to like watching squirrels. They have never visited our yard until this past year.

We had a mid-sized dog for several years, and she passed away 2 years ago.

We got a short legged dog that apparently does not threaten the squirrels, and they

have begun visiting us. I put out an “ear” of corn feeder I got at the home store

and he has been nibbling on that for a week or so. Then last weekend we put some

bird feed out also, in the hopes of attracting more birds… the squirrel was thrilled..

He thought he would check it out – if he could just reach it.

Ok, I can reach it, but I need to have at least one hand free…

And I’m reaching, reaching, slow even breaths, I can do this..

That smells so good.. must..have..some…

Work it Work it..

Yes!! I knew that thigh-master would pay off!! Thighs of steel baby!

Now to stuff some in my cheek for later..

Wait a minute – did you hear something?

Yeah, he might be little but get a load of that beak!
