Home Again Home Again…Jiggity Jig
I have finally returned from my trip to that
foreign country known as Tennessee
It is a place I had never even thought of visiting until my daughter
and her family moved there a year ago…
As you can see from my map, it is far far away from my country..
But nothing gets me to ride on three planes and a unicorn
like spending time with grandchilden..
Turns out it is a beautiful place, and trip worthy even if you don’t
have family there..
While I was there I took 524 pictures of my grandchildren..
Those of you who are familiar with my sense of humor may assume this
is one of my many sarcastic over-exaggerations…
you would be dead wrong..
And I thought I would prove it by putting every one of them in this post….
Lets all wave good-bye to those folks who just left my blog..
Ok, I am not going to post them all, but I have to show you a few!
Here are 3 of the 6 cutest grandchildren known to man-
Come on, admit it, they are so dang cute it hurts..
For one of my many photo shoots I drug the whole family out into the yard.
Which by the way is beautiful and lush and green, without any watering!!
Apparently there is water in the air there… it’s called humidity.
This is something we have not heard of in the Northwest, where if we don’t water
5 times a day our yard shrivels up and turns yellow.
Anyway…
The family was trying to be so sweet as I kept making them pose for
picture after picture in the heat. But my son-in-law finally grew weary..
If you look really closely you can tell….
I did manage to get a great picture of their little family-
Now that right there folks, is a good reason to travel to another country..
My daughter has made a beautiful home there, and it was such a joy to visit them.
Thank you for your patience while I was away!
I will probably do another post about my trip, but for now I will
get back to catching up on groceries, laundry, cleaning, blah blah blah..
Oh, and the Jiggity Jig part? Well lets just say that while I
was on vacation, I ate like I was on vacation…
That country sure has them some good food ya’ll !

I flew on 4 airplanes but no unicorn – how did you manage that?
All I got were old planes that probably should have been taken out of service years ago. But we made it safely even without the unicorn!
Wish I could have seen the kiddos. I got to see about 100 relatives in California though.

Well, it looks like the little guy was up for pictures, Sharyl! He seemd to enjoy each one! They are a beautiful family and I’m so glad to hear you had a good time. We have that thing called humidity here, too, and these past few days it’s been sapping my strength!

See…going to where country music rocks isn’t so bad, is it?
Your grandchildren are adorable especially that baby!!! That smile with those cute little teeth poking up…I could eat that one up with tons of hugs and kisses!
Glad you had a great time…visiting family is such a treat and so worth the time it took to get there. Now, going back home is a whole other story…ha! Case in point…laundry, groceries, blah, blah, blah!
