Not Your G-Ma’s Boots..
Yes, I have been shopping again..
I remember doing a post a month or so ago about how I was going to stop buying new things.
I am a compulsive liar and cannot be trusted.
Consider yourself warned.
But really – these were such a good deal – and it would be a crime to pass up a good deal, right?
Right???
I got them at Kohls. They were normally $99, on sale for $69.
I had a 30% off coupon and Kohls bucks – got them for $39…
Bammm….
Here they are with my little black dress, or LBD..
I got the dress at TJMaxx a couple of years ago.
$5 – marked down from $110..
The little vest was a recent purchase at Ross for $10.
The boots were perfect for a rainy day..
I wore them for three days in a row.
They go with most everything, and are super comfy.
But – my very favorite thing about these boots..
is behind them…

Since we moved, I haven’t even put my boots away yet, Sharyl! I’ve got all our shoes lined up against one wall until I can figure out what the heck we are doing with shoes in our closet. I did buy a pair of shoes at Target when we went our first trip out, here in Ohio. An absolute impulse buy, but when they are marked clearance and there is only one pair, and it is your size ~ well, you don’t have to smack me in the back of the head! I snatched those babies right up! They are “Not your G-ma’s” shoes either. It’s gotta be a 3 inch heel!
Love your boots! They will look great with jeans, too. You know, those great jeans you’ve got. ; ) Love the surprise of the red in the zipper.

I love Kohl’s! It’s my first stop when looking for new stuff!
And to answer your question, no I haven’t pulled out my boots yet. We got our first taste of fall yesterday – high of 75! I’m still in sandal weather here.

I threw two pair of boots away last spring and I have another that need to go to the same place very soon. I have to get brown and black ASAP! We have been having spring like weather and still sporting sandals and flip flops, but I hear we may get a few flakes of snow in the next few days, which is crazy panhandle weather! I love the red zipper boots…BAMM is right! I love that we are grandmothers and we are such cool dressers…hee hee

I’ve been trying to find these boots after a coworker bought them from kohl’s. But of course they were gone by the time I went to purchase them. I’ve looked everywhere on line for them and still no lick. Do you know the exact name of the boots that might make it easier to find them. Thanks!

I found a pair at Kohls. They seem to be closing out –don’t know why, since everyone who has seen them raves over them. Super comfortable and the red zipper in back is the bomb. The model is CAGilroy. Does that stand for California GIlroy? Don’t know. The color is not really black, more of a dark distressed gray. I wore them with a bright red sweater dress and my co-workers were complimenting me on the outfit. I felt very chic!

My daughter wanted these boots for Christmas so I searched several stores to find them but she decided not to keep them. I now have a pair size 7.5 for sale if anyone is looking to buy a pair yet this year.
