Are you ready for another session of

“As The Wardrobe Turns” ?

I guess most of you are probably to young to get that reference….

How about..

“So You Think You Can Wardrobe”

Or..

“How I Met Your Wardrobe”

Or even.

“American Wardrobe”

This…………is American Wardrobe…

Source

Ok, I’ll stop now.

This is the least amount of color I wore all week.

You may now applaud…

Jeans – Tillys – $25

Lace Vest – Local Store- $6

My “come hither” look in the right hand photo

Priceless.

Do not adjust your computer screen.

This is me.. in color.

Possibly enough color to be seen from the moon or

a nearby orbiting planet…..

But I made a resolution to wear more color this year..

And I mean to keep it.

Until I don’t….

(Just being honest – you know Black & White are like a drug to me..)

Jacket – Coldwater Creek- Free from friend..(don’t be a hater)

Pants – TJMaxx – $20

Boots – Kohls – $20 something

And by the way – IĀ apologizeĀ for the gargantuan look of my legs in the above photo

I could explain it but then I would have to kill you.

Ok. Don’t say it.

I unbuttoned the jacket later in the day.

It was for the best..

Shirt – $20 – Kohls

Black stretchy pants – $20 – Kohls

Denim Jacket – $12- Ross

The little head dip in the first picture is there because of my roots..

Which aren’t there because of my Amy..

I know this picture is scary, and perhaps I should have warned you.

However, no one currently living has ever seen my entire forehead..

It is ok if you threw up in your mouth a little bit..

This is my Amy, who puts my natural blonde highlights

back into my hair every 5 to 6 weeks.

She is adorable, she is a genius..

She is in my will.

And now – I leave you with one last photo.

This is my oldest and youngest grandaughters both posing

with my new mirror from the Junk store..

I believe that children are our future-

Teach them well and let them lead the way..

I love that vest, Sharyl! The first time you showed it I went shopping at TJ Maxx hoping to find something at least similar and I did. It doesn’t have the pretty ruffles like yours, but I love the way it looks. It’s such a great piece to wear with a long sleeve tee and jeans. Takes it from plain to pretty. Your granddaughters are so cute! The oldest looks like she’s got a little of G’mas flair for dressing and posing! : )

Love the red jeans! Maybe that should be one of my next purchases–colored pants. If you can do it, I can do it, right? I also love your lacy vest. You’re just turning into a fashion icon! Bet you never thought you’d hear that!

I love my hair stylist too…My roots are getting a a magic touch on friday ;)

Aren’t grandbabies the absolute greatest gift from God? I live too far away from all my babies, but they are dear to my heart and I’ve been in every delivery and will go to another one in May…a little girl! This makes me HAPPY ;D

    Have a great day!

I thought your thighs looked TINY in those red pants! You are looking good, Girlfriend!

I love my hair stylist too. I think she lies to me a lot, but I’m paying her, so hey, I may as well hear something I like! Keep up the posts, they make me laugh!

I think you look gorgeous with your hair pulled off your face – foils and all! With your hair back you really notice your high cheekbones.

If I have only have one life to live, let me live it as a blonda. Remember that ancient commercial? It’s now my motto and I too love my stylist :)

i had to laugh when i read, “…who puts my natural blonde highlights
back into my hair every 5 to 6 weeks.” too funny:) i don’t get mine done quite that often, but i do have to keep those gray roots covered up with numerous colors for the natural look:) haha!

You look 500x better sitting in the colorists chair than I do…I have the color put on my eyebrows since they are non-existent without it and I look like Eddie Munster. :(

    Love the color girl!

You are so funny, and adorable! I too, have to “put my natural blonde back in” every 6 weeks or so, but I do it myself. (I am so cheap!)

Your outfits look great. Now I am ashamed. I should really get out of these jammie pants today! :p

I think that grandma’s should have a little class. I love your style and that lace vest is darling. I will have to be on the look out for one.
