Hi! I am Sharyl from The Little Brown House. I am so glad you stopped in to see me!

I am a wife and mother, grandmother of 6, and a lover of all things home.

I tend to be more transparent than eloquent in my posts, and have a bad case of

over-punctuation usage. If you aren’t frightened off yet, you may be able to tolerate my OCD….

Here at The Little Brown House, you will find a variety of

diy and craft projects, home decor makeovers and projects, fashion posts

and recipes. My tag line is “Where Necessity Inspires Creativity”.

I love to use my creativity in my home to repurpose, reuse, and refashion items, and

I always have an eye out for thrifty and unusual ways to accomplish a project.

This is the Sunburst Mirror I made with poster board paper and a dollar store mirror.

And lastly, I have done several projects with salvaged cabinet doors. This is one I did recently

was more of a shabby style using chalk paint. I have lots more signs too!
